And now it's been and gone and we know how debased the Tory's thinking is.<\/p>\n<p>In that case it's time to set to work on writing the alternative. I discussed the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/commentisfree\/2012\/mar\/22\/budget-2012-left-capitalise-osborne-car-crash?INTCMP=SRCH\" target=\"_blank\">need for that alternative in the Guardian on Friday<\/a>, but if you want a job done you\u00a0might\u00a0as well do it yourself.<\/p>\n<p>I've been threatening to write 'The Joy of Tax' for some time.
