I know it is additional to the attack on tax havens it is also\u00a0proposing.<\/p>\n<p>It is welcome,\u00a0nonetheless, although I do not have high hopes\u00a0for it. As I have said on Twitter this morning:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>If the Euro crisis has proved anything it is that tax evasion brings down nations, economies, markets and societies. We need tax justice.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Now, will the G20 really deliver, starting with:<\/p>\n<p>1)\u00a0automatic information exchange from tax\u00a0havens\u00a0and\u00a0between\u00a0all states (unless barred on human rights grounds)<\/p>\n<p>2)\u00a0country-by-country reporting<\/p>\n<p>3) full beneficial ownership of all\u00a0companies\u00a0and\u00a0trusts\u00a0on public record?<\/p>\n<p>That's where we need to be going.
