Some time during last night this blog's related YouTube channel hit 20,000 followers:
This is an increase of 12,000 followers since April when the channel was relaunched, with that number now seeming to grow exponentially, as do views and viewing time.
Making the videos takes some effort, but it seems to have at least doubled the total audience for the ideas I promote. I think that justifies the effort.

Having followed your blog for a long time, I can’t say I’m surprised, Richard. There are many people in this country – and elsewhere – looking for some sanity and sense in commentary on economic and social issues, rather than the slavish following of dogma, and utter tosh, we routinely receive from the MSM and our politicians. May I take this opportunity to thank you for producing the blog and video content. It is always well written and produced. It’s very educational and shows that there is an alternative to the previous 45 years of neo liberal economic/political orthodoxy that we have had.
