Nice one.
I suspect that some people won’t get it.
Don’t blame me for this doggerel. It’s your fault. You got me going.
ONLY BEING POETICALLY INVENTIVE
There once was an incompetent mayor of London
Who couldn’t keep his pants on
From criticism he was immune
With the nations health he plays pontoon
And he somehow escapes our lampoon
Yes, you’ve guessed, it’s that corrupt B – – – – – – –
Johnson
His speeches are often full of wit
And some think he is a big hit
But people must open their eyes
Most of what he says is lies
Rightwing torches he has lit
He is nothing but a big Sh- –
ameless hypocrite.
To find the truth we have to hunt
His nasty politics are an affront
To expose his lies we must be proactive
His disruptive distortions are very corruptive
Being honestly blunt
He is what we all expect from a C- – –
onservative.
If unseen words may sound offensive
The bard will step forward and be defensive
For the words you don’t see are inclined
To be the vivid products of a fertile mind
Only being truthfully and poetically inventive.
Hmmmmm…..
Stephen Fry’s infamous contribution to the Uxbridge English Dictionary could surely be expanded to encompass Mr Johnson.
“Countryside. The killing of Piers Morgan.”
