Channel 4 has said more about fascism in the UK than other media: is that why it’s being sold?

    Has anyone thought of the idea of forming a COOP to buy Channel 4.
    I’m sure there are plenty of people who would like to be members, and would be prepared to put in some money.
    Then we could have a TV channel owned by the people, and away from government interference.
    Works well for Bath and West Community Energy, of which I am a member.
    But Channel 4 would be on a much bigger scale, nation wide.
    Has anyone got a better suggestion?

    Excellent – Guru Murthy’s stupid question about the ‘majority of people’ agreeing with fascists was dealt with superbly. ‘Majority’ my arse!! How could he say that?!

    Snyder’s point about ‘regenerating a factual background’ to politics i think summed up your role Richard. Keep up the good work.
