This letter was sent to the Prime Minister by more than 200 academics, scientists and specialists yesterday. I think it worth reproducing in full (exporting all the signature, which can be examined on the original, here):
The UK is refusing to agree to the TRIPS waiver referred to in the letter. It is an outlier in this regard. The US is, for example, in favour of it.
If we want to protect people in this country we have to protect the world. It really is that simple.
When will the government listen?

Agree with the contents of the letter. The actions of this (so-called) govt on this are motivated purely by greed and self-interest.
