I have what appears to be a busy day. This is out first:
In our latest episode, @AlexSalmond interviews Professor @RichardJMurphy of @CityUniLondon, and we discuss the new thinking that can boost the economic case for #Scottish independence🏴
Be sure not to miss this week's show!

The programme is a half our interview partly timed to coincide with the Scottish Currency Group online conference on the Sustainable Growth Commission, later today.
I have to admit my main participation there is pre-recoded because I am also speaking (this time live) for Keele World Affairs this evening.
Both the Scottish and Keele events will be republished as videos afterwards.
Thanks for reading this post.

Watched the Keele presentation tonight, you came across well and comments were favourable.
Only one sour note was that you troll “Matthew” was trying his usual tricks to discredit you, I recognise his MO from this blog,, they actually turned the comment facility off because of his trolling while you were doing your speaking. Then he resumed afterwards, to everyone’s annoyance I may add.
All other comments were very encouraging and complimentary, a few saying it was the best talk they have had in the series. 623 viewers too, hopefully you have won some more supporters.
Thanks
I was unaware of the trolling, of course
Actually, I could not even see the slides or what anyone else was seeing, which was a technical fault and required a little concentration to imagine what was on screen and presume I was getting it right
They were very annoyed by the trolling – a new experience for them. They will need to work out how those who try to close down free speech can be thrown out
The slides worked well and were in perfect sync with what you were saying, you covered it well. It did say on the comments “say something nice”, but they need to switch comments facility off altogether. It is very distacting to
be reading running comments when there is a presentation going on. You wouldn’t allow that in a live audience. Questions can always be asked at the end. Or else those who strongly disagree can apply to Keele University to get a talk themselves!
From what I have read from “Matthew” in the past, I for one would not be bothering to listen, one would be just a well reading any dumb media report on the subject or listen to a politician attempting the same task.
