The books will always balance, whatever he does; that is the nature of accounting. All he can try to do is influence which ledger the numbers appear in.
Thank you. The video is simply put, even a Tory chancellor could understand it. The use of the word “sacred” is quite unnerving it has no place in economics. It smacks of religious dogma rather than an evidence based solution.

*( for those who prefer “shalts” to “thy shalt nots”; Though shalt run a balanced budget)
