Matt Frei’s treatment of Caroline Lucas the other night on C4 news was atrocious. He has gone down in my estimation. She bravely fought through it.
The idiot ponce robot from the ‘the think tank that refuses to reveal its funders’ was there and was allowed to say that climate concern was just a load of lefties kicking off’ and was of course allowed to have the final say.
Look – we all know what is going on right? It is the ‘culture of contentment’ – many of us like what we have got – the big 4×4 for a trip to the shops – right? And that culture extends into making sure that those who make money/rent off old polluting tech continue to do so for as long as possible.
In making the world a better place, we have become very lazy in the post war West as we make too much money out of money.
We must grin and bear it for now until we reach some sort of terminus I’m afraid.

It was disgraceful – honestly – Caroline is a grown up and she can handle it (but she seemed agitated and caught out by Frei and had to be on the defensive right from the word go) but why such a negative treatment? Aren’t our presenters supposed just ask questions and not be counsel for vested interests?
All I saw in the end were two blokes picking on a brave woman – I was so angry I threw a cushion at the TV and walked out of my living room. The world is insane I tell you. If I had the time I’d write and complain.
