It is indicative again that the only way this is going to be truly solved is for the opposition parties to pull together after an election and after a ND BREXIT has been delayed and form a government of national unity.
It’s simple isn’t it? Or rather it SHOULD be.
Using the legal routes just declares an open season on the issue (all sides can get a legal opinion for God’s sake but all it will be is lawyers telling the supposedly highest court in the land what to do) and allows the opposition parties to duck the obvious answer – forget about one party rule and start fucking working together NOW.
I do not say this lightly but it seems to me that the commons opposition sometimes actually deserves the contempt in which Cummings, Duncan-Smith and Baker hold it.
I promise you it would be hard to get agreement on the colour of the paper clips
