I must apologise to those who have had problems using links from the blog today.
The supplier of the link generating software that I was using had let their security certificate expire. The issue was not here, but it looked as if it was.
You will see the link software at the bottom of this post is different. The only practical change is that this software does not say how many times an article has been shared on Twitter. I can live with that.

We finally got to the bottom of it
I find that my name and mail details no longer automatically populate when I respond but I can get used to it.
Sorry – that is because the site is now https and this appears to no longer be possible
