My thoughts on the Scottish economy, recorded in June:
There's one personal aside to this: one commentator said it looked like I needed to lay off pies after viewing this. I agreed. I've lost more than 10kg since then. The problem was buns, not pies, but it's a sacrifice worth making if weight loss increases my chance of staying in action for a lot longer. I suspect there is more to lose as yet. I fear I will get to my target before Scotland gets the economic reforms it needs.

Nice.
Yes I also gave up the wheat based products after seeing myself on video whilst in Singapore. I shed over 20Kg . As you say it wasnt the pies. 🙂
It’s actually been remarkably easy
Although I now need new clothes
Well done on shedding those kilos – I’m just curious about one thing. Did you go to Slimming World, or Weight Watchers classes, join an exercise class e.g. zumba, an NHS group, or do it all through self-discipline?
Pure self discipline
Just said ‘cut out the buns’
Well, literally, every snack and chose a sensible breakfast, sandwich lunch and single course main meal
That’s it
Nothing else
I just decided to eat what I need and no more
