George Osbourne is not fit to clean our streets nor our boots.
The biggest economic vandal ever. We needed a skilled surgeon of a chancellor to deal with the economy post 2008 and instead we got a quack doctor. Or was he a painter & decorator posing as a chancellor?
History will not judge him well.
I’ve already judged him and because this is a family orientated blog, I will keep my darker thoughts to myself.
Haha. Great pic. Well spotted. He clearly needs the extra cash as his ‘official’ net worth is a paltry £4.5 million (http://www.the-net-worth.com/2016/02/george-osborne). I don’t know how he dares show his face in public when his successor, from significantly more modest beginnings, is worth twice as much. At least David Cameron is worth a respectable £38.5 million (excluding Sam’s £2 million), thus maintaining the face of the Tory Party. However, if you really wanted to avoid the Job Centre heading up New Labour was an inspired option. Tony Blair is apparently worth £46.2 million.
The Draper s Dummy ?
Come on Brian, that’s just abuse. Consider his feelings – I mean the guy in the photo.
Osborne will be high-vis alright — “George Osborne expected to make hundreds of thousands of pounds after joining exclusive US after-dinner speaking agency” [1].
He’ll make his fortune singing to American audiences with such numbers as
‘I Don’t Want To Set The World On Fire’ — but, here’s a good way to go!
‘Down and out’ in Austerity Britain.
Or just ‘Austerity’ here are four lines:
“Our minds are numb
And all our books are hollow
Our lobes are sour
And all our looks are vacant”

Very funny Richard. It is not malicious either as it’s the truth. Why do you think that no-one is actually focusing on his failed career & the catostrophic effects he left behind under Cameron’s watch? Whey isn’t the media pulling the EU referendum appart as a failing on the part of a PM who called it, as he handled his campaign so badly because so much of the country especially in the north hated him, his Chancellor, his austerity measures and his policies. It was easy for UKIP to feed them lies and blame it on immigration and whatever Cameron or Osbourne said, by now, no-one believed them because of their spin on “how well they were doing with our econony” while people were using food banks & losing their homes. The media ignored this as it had a perfect divertion of putting the blame for everything on the oppostion leader. I would expect leading economist to be saying of Osbourne “I told him so”. Richard you had already said his approach wouldn’t work. How can these men just walk away into the sunset, go on holiday, slip into 6 figure salaried jobs & the media says NOTHING! Well we know of course that the media is owned by those who benefit from the mess we are in today.
Hard to disagree Min
Quite correct.
The media in the UK has totally failed in its supposed role in a democracy.
