A series of news stories came out this week about European Union proposals to tackle tax avoidance by multinational companies and secret offshore banking. Is this one reason why that well known tax haven the United Kingdom seems desperate to leave?
It's a question worth asking.

I don’t get it. The people of the UK are going to vote in a referendum to leave the EU so multinationals can avoid tax?!?!
That is not what will be said by the No campaign
But it is an entirely possible outcome and so motive for it
“that well known tax haven the United Kingdom”
Perhaps a [short] list of countries could be produced by the TJN (or you) which you consider are NOT tax havens?
