Especially for Carol Wilcox, a regular commentator on this site and tireless campaigner for land value taxation, there is now a 'like post' button on every page of this blog - which works the same way (I'm told) as Facebook.
And no, there is no 'dislike post' button. I may be daft enough to write a blog, but I'm not that stupid (no discussion required).
Thanks for reading this post.

Another excellent idea from Carol Wilcox! She also made an impressive, impromptu contribution on LVT, to the re-nationalisation LRC meeting at Brighton Fringe last week. That deserved a lot of ‘likes’ too!
🙂
But it only works if you are on Facebook. What about the rest of us?
It works here
Just click it!
“It works here …”
No it doesn’t. When you click, it asks you to connect to your Facebook account”.
Does it?
I’ll check
Oh Woe! It doesn’t even appear on my screen, and the page is all over the place – ‘home’, ‘about’, etc blot out the topline of the articles. Could it be cos I is connected via a dongle?
Which browser?
The “Like” seems to work fine, but only on the original post. It’d be hie if it worked on the Comments and Replies too…
Technically very difficult and so too costly
Sorry
Richard,
Since you checked last night, the like it button – which was there before but required connecting to Facebook – has disappeared for me too (everything else looks normal). Maybe it only appears when you are already connected to Facebook? As I am Facebook-resistant, I can’t try that.
For the record, I use Firefox (on Mac), but have just tried with Safari and see no like button there either.
That was a ‘like on Facebook’ button which has been removed to prevent confusion
The Like Post button is only available on the posts – not on the home page
Hope that clarifies things
Thanks. That works now!
