Do you want to work for the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust?

Posted on

The Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust is by far the biggest sponsor of my work. They have a vacancy available at present and I suggested I'd lend a hand by noting it on the blog in case anyone was interested in working for what i think a truly worthwhile organisation:

The Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust is staffed by a small team based at the Garden House, in the historic city of York. Following a recent retirement, we are now recruiting for an operations / office manager to work at the heart of our small staff team, to develop, manage and co-ordinate the Trust's office, including our information systems, premises, human resources and communications.

This is a rare opportunity to work for one of the UK's most progressive, endowed grant-making foundations. We can offer a good salary, excellent terms and conditions (including a defined benefit pension scheme) and the satisfaction of helping to support amazing people and organisations, working on everything from tax justice to climate change. In return, we are looking for somebody who can help us to be an even more efficient, effective and value-led organisation, who will bring not only relevant expertise and skills, but a willingness to learn and an enthusiasm for the work of the Trust.

We would really appreciate your help in finding the right person for this role. Please have a look at the information on our website, and pass this link along to anyone you think might be interested.

PS Action Aid also have a great job going - here.
