I don't agree with all Larry Elliott wrote in his Guardian article this morning. I do agree with his over-riding conclusion on why the UK is in such a weak position:
In their separate ways, RBS and Mid Staffs illustrate a perennial problem: not just poor management across both private and public sectors but a world which the elite looks after itself and treats the little people with contempt.
And that's why the tax justice campaign is so important. It's about treating ordinary people, everywhere, with respect.
