I'm speaking on this subject this afternoon at 5pm at Athens Concert Hall in a meeting organised by the Socialist and Democratic group in the EU parliament.
As usual, I will not be speaking to a script. That's not my style. But I have thought about what I might say: that's also my style. My speaking note looks something like this (click on it for a bigger version):

Whatever diagram you end up working to, Richard, I’m sure what you say will have an impact. The Greeks need to understand that when they voted for the parties that now form the coalition, primarily on the understanding that they would work with the EC to remain within the Eurozone (i.e. maintain what we might refer to as stability), they also (perhaps unintentionally as far as the majority of the electorate are concerned) created a government that will do little or nothing to challenge the positions and practices of the 1%. That’s another similarity they have with with the ConDem coalition in the UK. Rhetoric – but little else!
I think it’s important that we have this available on YouTube!
