Hi Richard,
I have now joined E&Y and am looking forward to the next few months in college studying for the ATT and beyond this CTA. I am very happy to be doing this but sometimes concerned about maybe doing a chartered accounting qualification first as I have read many people going in to tax including yourself have first and foremost done this. So am I missing a trick here. I am joing Indirect Tax – VAT.
Thanks
I think you are missing a trick
You will become a great technician without ever really getting your head round the substance of the accounting issues
You will also, professionally, be a one trick pony
