One of the biggest questions in economics right now is whether the US will re-start quantitative easing.
For many getting their heads round what QE is can be hard enough.
Paul Mason from BBC News Night has done a vey good job explaining what he thinks it is.
I recommend this.
But I’ll add that the Green New Deal group is working on a publication on this issue — and it will, I think, push understanding and the policy boundaries somewhat further than Paul anticipates.
