Blogging does occasionally have the capacity to surprise.
I wrote what I thought was a pretty routine blog the other day, It was called “Benefit fraud is 624 times more serious than tax evasion”. And it has gone like wildfire around Twitter it seems, becoming in the process the best read story within a day or so of the time of its publication ever on the blog — over 4,000 to date and rising.
Now I know the Tweet said “bless the Internet for short nerdy posts like this” but I can live with that if the message goes out that we’re not doing enough about tax evasion, because sure as heck we’re not. .
