It’s been a gruelling few weeks in the run up to the G20.
The G20 was gruelling.
I’m taking the weekend and maybe a day or two at the start of next week off to tackle my sorely neglected garden.
So if comments do not go on the blog for a while please don’t send me threatening emails of complaint β every man is allowed a little time off his blog.
And please don’t expect me to reply to comments made β I very much doubt I will be doing so.
Thanks for reading this post.

You need a holiday Richard. Jersey is nice at this time of year and there is a lovely smell of Spring in the air at the moment.
I bet you can’t go more than 36 hours without posting something.
Enjoy the Garden Richard, spring is a great time to start.
I’m sure you’ll be on fighting form when you return
I don’t think the TJN have much to say anymore.
Why are you so defensive, Matt?
Matt and his ilk see the end of their immoral means of living. π
Richard – whilst you are putting a brave face on it you must be disappointed with the outcome of G20 vis-a-vis the tax havens/secrecy jurisdictions. It probably wasn’t worth all the effort you undoubtedly put into it. The reality is that nothing of significance is going to happen for years, if then, as a result of G20.
Still, I’m sure you know that, for the European Centres like the CI and IoM, there is a much more potent time bomb ticking away – the revised ESTD. That will really requireus to be quick on our feet!
Enjoy and come back at least a little refreshed. And, when you read snide comments like Clarke’s, go on ignoring them.
