There are serious economists, for example, who think we could be on the verge of a huge bank run.
And the Federal back up funds have not got enough to cover and real problem.
I don't care about that: just print the cash right now is my suggestion. Literally. the thing most likely to cause panic is a lack of cash.
Worry about what to do with it all afterwards. Just print it in case its needed.

Printing cash willy-nilly, and the resulting inflation, will certainly do wonders for the accounts of pensioners and savers.
