The UK has banned short selling of stocks for four months.
Don't tell me we can't re-write the rules.
We can.
We will.
It's our only way out.
But last night on Newsnight the nerds were still bleating about the need to restore markets to their former position.
Don't they realise? Those markets are history.
The financial world will never be the same again. The Right and its massed cohorts have to learn that, now.
This is not to say markets aren't needed: they are. But not the ones we had.
