Accountancy Age reports that the Treasury has had a lot of interest in its new business-government think tank tasked with looking at how to resolve the crisis on taxing foreign earnings in the UK. They're apparently said:
We've had a high level of interest from a number of companies which are keen to have a representative on the group.
Well, let's hope they don't forget to appoint someone from civil society when completing the process.
