The CBI – dedicated to offshore, with UK taxes

The CBI has submitted its ideas to the government's comprehensive spending review. Amongst their whizzo ideas are offshoring UK civil servant's jobs. And cutting growth in the public sector, of course.

So here we have British Industry (note that) asking that the multiplier effect that comes from their UK taxes is injected into another economy. Which is a double whammy: they pay, someone else benefits.

And then they ask for a tax cut.

And then you wonder why British industry is in trouble.
