Jersey, what was really said

Posted on

After discussion, the Tax Justice Network has decided that it is in the public interest to release the documents now in my possession that have been sent from Jersey regarding its new sham trust legislation.

Attached is the whole email exchange I wrote about yesterday.

Also available is an email from Bill Ogley, a lawyer in the employment of the States of Jersey, written on behalf of Terry le Sueur (whose name he can't spell) seeking to justify the email exchange, and clearly implicating Le Sueur in this whole issue.

Finally, there is the statement Malcolm Campbell, head of tax in Jersey issued on this matter to the Observer.

A full analysis of these documents will follow.
