With speakers from FTSE-100 companies, MPs, economists and tax campaigners, the Fair Tax Conference 2018 (June 7) has something for everyone. We'll be exploring why we're in the situation we're in on transparency and tax, what is happening now, and what changes are coming to the industry. Book now to be part of it.

Speakers include:

Meg Hillier MP, chair of the House of Commons Public Accounts Committee, responsible for scrutinising the economy, efficiency and effectiveness of Government spending.

Alex Cobham, chief executive of the Tax Justice Network, leading campaigners and experts on a wide range of issues related to tax, tax havens and financial globalisation.

Rachel McEwan, director of sustainability at SSE PLC, the first FTSE-100 company to be accredited the Fair Tax Mark, and vocal supporters of increased transparency around tax.

Michael Jacobs, director of the IPPR Commission on Economic Justice, and previously member of the Council of Economic Advisers at the Treasury, and special adviser to the Prime Minister.

Maggie Murphy, Senior Global Advocacy Manager at Transparency International (TI). She leads the organisation's advocacy efforts targeting international bodies such as the G20, G8 and OECD.

Richard Murphy, Professor of Practice in International Political Economy at City University, London and Director of Tax Research UK. Author of 'Over Here and Under Taxed' (2013), and The Joy of Tax (2015).

And as well as plenary sessions throughout the day, there will be two rounds of workshops to help businesses develop the best approaches to their tax responsibilities.

See you there?
