The Fair Tax Mark and the Cooperative Party held a fringe meeting at the Labour Party conference yesterday at which I was invited to speak on the background to the tax justice campaign on getting large companies to pay the tax that they owe. I am grateful to all who helped organise and sponsor the packed event (people had to be turned away). These were my speaking notes:

It sounds a great meeting Richard. It is disappointing that the media give so little coverage to such an important initiative. I would like to see you present a TV series on the Fair Tax Mark, but sadly our neo-liberal media will not give you a platform.
