I have not heard Ed Miliband's speech. For personal reasons I am on my way home from Brighton.
I have read a lot of headlines.
I have heard praise for the delivery.
And I am not going to analyse the detail not least because some is clearly still missing.
What I can say is that policy void that existed last week is much smaller now. And for the sake of British politics that is good news because the UK needs a strong and effective opposition if its politics is to work.
