OT, sort of, will you be following the German election results? Much at stake for the direction of Europe and the UK.
The 1% = the universal set!
“If the normal people had any idea at all what we’re doing, there would be a banker’s head on each of those poles” (re Central Park)
Worldwide, you need an income of £31,500 p.a. to be in the top 1%.
In the UK, on an income of £149,000 p.a. you’re in the 99%. £1,000 more puts you in the 1% but I doubt you have much in common with a billionaire.
I’ve never found this divisive 1%/99% very useful to the debate. Just seems like a cheap ‘sound-bite’.
