Heseltine is right, but has much to apologise for

What can be said about Heseltine's report on growth?

He's right. Supply side reforms do not work.

He's right, we need investment now.

He's right, this needs to be local, diversified and also fast.

He's right, it is shameful that the government has not realised this.

He's right, we won't get out of recession without such change.

It's just a shame it's taken so long for a Tory to say so. Some of us were doing so in 2008, before the crash happened.

In that case Heseltine has a lot to apologise for: he's way behind the times.
