I'm absent with my sons today.
Sometimes one just needs to go and play but since people often ask if I'm silent for more than a couple of hours - that's why!

You certainly deserve a break especially as a new career awaits you as a satirist. I have just listened to Rory Bremner and despite the gravity of the economic situation I must confess that I found the programme highly amusing. The following in particular were great contributions – fortnightly bin colllections and Oliver Letwin, exporting old people, Haven (the new cosmetics company) and the ‘conservative’ estimate of the tax gap. This programme should be broadcast earlier and also be on TV.
