This is very good, from PCS.
I know because people in the Treasury told me so.
And I did not write it.

This is really good and comon sence!!!!
This morning i was woken up by by the bins being colected, latter that day i disoverd that i might have an alagry to tiger prawns so i went to an NHS walk-in center. i love living in a country with public services
Far from an outdated institution, we need unions now more than ever. This government wants to re-ignite the old 80s class war to batter the unions and drive down all wages for ordinary working people until most of us are effective wage-slaves. They won’t be happy until we are all on minimum wage, short-term contracts, with little or no rights, working all hours to serve the idle rich.
Mervyn King’s speech yesterday was honest and brave. In contrast, the actions of the RMT were childish and petty. The unions should seek alliances with policy makers, regulators and industry leaders who want to see long-term investment based on the real economy and not on the paper wealth for the few in the parasitic City.
The government seeks to undermine the unions through further privatisation. The unions should see this as an opportunity. If unions were to bid for contracts to run public services their commitment to providing a good service, on a not-for-profit basis, could challenge the view – sadly perpetuated by Bob Crow – that unions are only interested in strikes.
A must read – for everyone!!!! This is common sense and not impossible to achieve. Please pass on…………….
