The advertising is tacky

The subject even more so

  1. Even in flush times the advert would look cheesy. It’s the printed equivalent of those emails you get from Nigeria. I can’t imagine who would self-identify with that picture and say “Yes, that’s me.” Well, I can, actually. People who are *cough* aspirational and have little to base their aspirations on. But I digress into snarkiness. Forgive me. :-)

I took a look at the accompanying printed materials. Except for the session at 1415 – 1500 I can’t see what would be tacky about the conference. A pointless exercise for presenters and attendees, yes. A waste of a perfectly good day better spent at the beach, sure. But tacky? Everything else is standard stuff – run your financial affairs more efficiently, invest wisely.

Came to you via @dahowlett. Cheers!

ps: if you want *TACKY* you should come to some of the sessions that I put on. :-)

Looks like we might have differing perceptions on the ethics of tax avoidance

But I signed up to your email nonehteless

It may not garner you the publicity you want, mind you, so feel free to strike me off :-)

  3. I think it’s a splendid example of the protean qualities of the self help publishing that clogs up bookshops and bandwidth.
How to win in good times/bad times, there’s always an individualistic way out.

  4. Dear God really? I mean, really???

I think there should be special additional 25% rate of income tax on all members of STEP. LOL
