Hardly have the USA gained respect in casting the right
vote than it is all to be destroyed by the arrogance of thinking that the USA rules the world. If they have tax avoidance problems (not evasion as that is illegal) then it is their own problem and gives them no right to meddle in the affairs of other countries.
It is not by accident that the lowest taxed nations of the world are the richest and the logic "you have to help us pay for our wars" just won't wash in most countries.
Actually, there is nothing legal about taxation in the first place as it was 'invented' by spendthrift monarchs of old (especially Charles I) who invented the Fiduciary Debt which Mr Darling in London currently upholds.
The intentions of Mr Obama have ALREADY HAD AN EFFECT on the Isle of Man as the UK Govt, in its urge to do the right thing and be a good puppy dog towards America, has left Mann in the cold with regards to
Kaupthing and the insolvency of Iceland instead of upholding the Crown's obligation to represent us abroad.

How about the Isle of Man cutting VAT and petrol duties. In fact, how about the IOM looking towards Ireland or Norway for foreign representation and defence?
