		<description>I agree that scrapping the domicile rule may have achieved this. However, so could an early withdrawal from Iraq, or not bribing the Saudi arms dealers. What about the abuses of taxpayers money that the government indulges in, and the ridiculous gravy train so beloved of our MEPs? The desire of the non-doms to protect their position is no different from the desire of Gordon Brown to have his Sky TV subscription paid for by the taxpayer. Until those abuses of tax revenue are addressed, everyone will understandably keep fighting to retain what they can. It's just human nature.</description>
