So who does manage Granite?

I bumped into Vince Cable this morning (as you do) and suggested a few things he might like to ask during the Northern Rock debate today.

1) Who is the real owner of Granite?

2) If it’s a trust where is the trust deed for inspection?

3) Who are the trustees?

4) Will the government be appointing new trustees?

5) Will the nominee directors of Granite be replaced to ensure proper governance takes place?

Given that almost half of Northern Rock is in Granite, and Northern Rock controls Granite these seem like the most basic questions we now need answers to.

I hope Vince delivers them.
