Some interesting quotes in the Times’ article. I couldn’t help but luagh at “In November, the Revenue admitted losing discs containing the records of 25 million child benefit recipients.” It does seem that this is going to be the catch all excuse for the next decade or so - “We’d love to co-operate, but we’re concerned about the security of our data…”. And never mind how much data has been lost/stolen from private individuals and corporations (banks included) over the years!
