There was another amusing dimension to the Jersey Evening Post article I referred to yesterday (not available on the web I’m afraid).
In the same article was highlighted a checklist from a UK mortgage broker which suggested a number of criteria that might suggest a person was in need of financial ‘rehab’. One was:
You dare not compare your income and outgoings
Such is, of course, the state of Jersey politicians who know they have a ‘black hole’ in the public finances coming up of in excess of £100 million per annum – or almost 20% of their State expenditure.
And then they wonder why they suggest I’m their “arch enemy” for pointing this out.
Strange world, isn’t it? Especially when viewed from Jersey.
