I can’t resist publishing this, extracted from a mail received in the last hour.
I’m sure PWC mean Wednesday 6 December 2006, and since I know they’re reading this site quite a lot right now, I thought I’d drop them the hint that they might need to slow the presses down, or maybe push the ‘send’ button again with some revised copy. All done as a gesture of goodwill, of course.
The alternative could be of course be that they are referring to the pre-budget report 2013, which is the next occasion on which 6 November falls on a Wednesday. But I suspect that’s really a claim of foresight too far, even for PWC.
